Steel Staircases

At Jones & Whymark we specialise in the design, fabrication and installation of cat ladders and staircases.

Typical examples include access ladders to plant rooms and flat roofs, residential staircases for access in flats, commercial and industrial fire escapes.  For many years we have fabricated and installed metal balustrading for pre formed cast concrete staircases for residential and commercial buildings.  All of this is done in our workshop in Colchester.

We offer a range of finishes and materials these include galvanising, stove enameling of mild steels, aluminum stainless steel and glass for high specification projects.  When the client requests design input we have a dedication team who can attend site to take accurate site dimensions to then produce fabrication drawings that make sure all the latest building regulations are met.
